SkeptiComic, My twelve-year-old son’s view on life

My twelve-year-old son wants to try his hand at a skeptic or science based comic. Some stray a bit, but I strongly encourage any endeavor in this direction.  Enjoy.

Honey, I Shot the Zombies is a short movie my son and his friend made a few weeks ago.  Typically 12-year-old boyish, I still thought it was pretty funny.  His YouTube channel is here.  If you like it, go to his site and leave a comment.  He’s thrilled by how many views he’s getting.  It’s amazing what you can do with an image editing program and some Nerf guns spray painted black.  It took about three hours to shoot but another five hours of editing and FX.  Needless to say, he wants to be a filmmaker. You’ll even notice a bit of a cameo appearance by the Blessed Atheist himself.  I’m not a wimp in real life.  I just play one on TV!

  1. Wow! Anybody ever confuse you with Ronald Reagan? You’re a great communicator and funny, too! -antiwasp

just found these! don’t know how I missed them before. Love the minimalist style! Very expressive, yet simple, figures.

Doh! G.enerator O.f D.estruction. LOL! Looking forward to more!:))

  4. Yay! Two new Skepticomics! *Love* the top one! SkeptiComic, if you’re a teenager and you know what the greatest gift is, you are *so* way ahead practically everybody:))

Love your Zombies!! Great f/x–how long did it take you to edit that?

  5. “It’s okay though, we only used ugly puppies, not those cute adorable ones you’d want in your house…”

Sorry,. went into xkcd mode there for a moment.

Great work, KK-Junior. Keep it up please, we want more!

  6. Reading it again–my favorite part in the Existence comic is “Duuuuuuuude–We exist!” The faces make me laugh, and it has a great Bill-and-Ted’s-Excellent-Adventure feeling (reference? Have you seen that movie?)
